The homework assignment for my Spanish class was to write a paragraph. When I returned their papers, I asked one student if he had used Google Translate or any other online translator to write his paper.
He categorically denied doing so.
That led to my next question, “Then why is this in French?”
Rita: Did your family move a lot when you were younger?
Greta: They did. But I always found them!
A woman was shopping for something to wear to her 50th high school reunion when a group of teenage girls came into the same shop to try on dresses for their school formal.
“Gross,” complained one girl loudly to her friends, “this dress makes me look 40 years old!”
“May I have it?” called out the lady. “That’s just what I’m looking for!”
A little boy in my infant class came into school and told me he could spell his mum’s name.
“M-U-M,” he said proudly.
Before I could congratulate him, another little boy said excitedly, “That’s how you spell my mum’s name too!”
